Make new friends with Brighton's best activities and social club. Most of our members are in the 50+ age bracket but we welcome people of any age.   We have a huge range of events from walks to cocktails, theatre trips to treasure trails and everything in between. Every week, there's something on. Our members are encouraged to put on events for the club and think outside the box.

The aim of our meetup group is to encourage new members to try out events for free. You are welcome to attend three events for free and then we ask you to take out full membership which costs £10. This gives you access to our full programme and events nationwide.

We have a more extensive programme of events available to paid members of the club ( formerly known as IVC). This includes larger scale events such as Christmas dinner dances and summer parties. It also give you access to events nationwide and holidays through our national organisation AIVC.

All members of this meetup group must put up a picture of
themselves and a first name ( not an initial or alias please). If you have
**particular reasons why this is not possible , please message. We also ask you to verify your identity by sending an email to *meetup@brightonsussexsocial.org.uk ***

To be a member of our meet up group, you agree to abide by our code of conduct- namely we have zero tolerance for any discrimination and we treat each other with respect. Our event organisers are volunteers and their efforts should always be appreciated. Club members and meetup members who breach the code of conduct will be asked to leave.
Please be aware that two no shows without updating your RSVP will result in being removed from the group.

Meetup only member attend all events at their own risk and IVC accept no liability for any loss or injury resulting from such attendance.

Trial membership is only £3 for three months and entitles you to see the full programme of events and attend any event. Please be aware that all memberships are renewed in February each year.
